Let customers speak for us
What System Are You Shopping For?
Okay, first thing’s first! Let’s figure out what type of gamer you’re looking for. If you’re unsure, you could always do a little browsing (or just ask) and find the game. But it’s important to know just what games your intended recipient plays so that we can provide the right recommendations.
Some of this has to do with theme – for example, if your son plays Marvel Crisis Protocol, they’d want comic book inspired, modern terrain. A broken-down wild west outpost just won’t fit in quite right! Additionally, for some games the scale of the terrain is very important. Don’t worry too much about the technicalities here, just know that depending on the game system you’ll need terrain of a specific size for it to work correctly – we’ll get into that in our game specific recommendation below.
Ready To Go?
Okay, now that you know what system you’re looking for, we’ll break down some of our favorite pieces and provide a few options. First, we’ll talk about a nice gift that anyone playing those games will use. Then, we’ll sprinkle in a couple of stocking stuffer options – nice, low cost items that would be a great add-on. And finally, we’ll include a showstopper piece for each game – these are going to be the jaw-dropping additions that’ll recreate the feeling of opening that first Nintendo or BB gun in Christmases of yore!
Today, we're turning our focus to the grimdark future of the 41st millenium and giving you our recommendations for Warhammer 40,000 compatible terrain!
In games of Warhammer 40,000 players act as the commanders
of large forces of Imperial hosts, Chaos-corrupted legions and demons, or
strange, otherworldly aliens. Whatever your recipient’s faction of choice, any
battlefield can naturally support a Grimdark Fiel Command HQ! This multi-piece
building can be painted and modified to match the army of your choice and represents
a key strategic piece of cover on the field.
Additionally, this piece features a fully removable ceiling,
allowing you to place miniatures inside and turn this into a piece that can easily act as “ruins” on your board.

Every game of 40k can use more ruins! In addition to playing in to the theme of war torn planets and artillery blasted battlefields, ruins
in 40k have tons of strategic importance. In competitive play, ruins are used almost exclusively in order to set up symmetrically balanced fields with clear, defined shooting lanes. In narrative and casual play, they provide fun pieces
of storytelling flair (while also providing your units with cover!)
